Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create tailored media pitches for various journalism outlets and high-ranking online domains.
  • Oversee and guide the efforts of PR outreach specialists, ensuring alignment with the overall PR strategy and goals.
  • Conceptualise and write pitch concepts that resonate with target media outlets and align with the client’s messaging.
  • Draft, refine, and edit articles, pitches, and other content to ensure they align with the client’s messaging and SEO objectives.
  • Work directly with clients to integrate their feedback into drafts and ensure the final piece aligns with their vision and messaging.
  • Utilise SEO tactics in PR strategies to drive targeted traffic back to client websites; basic SEO training will be provided.
  • Actively engage and establish relationships with journalists, editors, and online media professionals to facilitate effective pitching and secure opportunities for clients.

Our Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Public Relations, Media Outreach, or a similar field.
  • Ability to oversee and guide digital PR outreach specialists.
  • Proficiency in crafting compelling PR articles, media pitches, and pitch concepts.
  • An understanding of SEO keywords and their relevance in PR strategies; training will be provided.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous PR campaigns, articles, or pitch concepts.
  • Eagerness for continual learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for a variety of digital and print marketing materials, including website content, blogs, and press releases.
  • Ensure all copy is optimised for SEO best practices, including keyword usage, metadata, and title tags.
  • Take new clients through an onboarding questionnaire (via video call or in-person) to understand their business, brand, and goals.
  • Communicate with clients via email to keep them informed of project progress, ask for feedback, and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Digital PR team to develop content strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research to inform content creation and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread copy for accuracy and grammar.
  • Meet with clients to understand their brand voice and tone and incorporate their feedback into content development.
  • Develop and maintain a style guide to ensure consistency across all copy.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SEO copywriter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write for a variety of audiences and adapt to different brand voices.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and how they can be incorporated into copywriting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to establish rapport with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong intellectual thinking abilities and the capacity for creativity.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
